How many macarons per person?
Plan on two macarons per person. That works for dessert, for a party, and for a wedding favor. Some guests will eat more and some will eat less, and two is a good average.

Macarons come by the dozen, so the number of dozens is rounded up. Each flavor comes in a half-dozen or more.
How many for a wedding favor?
Two per guest works for wedding favors, too. I use the same two-per-person rule for private gatherings, parties, and events.
How far ahead should I order for a big party?
For a wedding, a shower, or any large order, ask at least two weeks ahead. For two or three dozen, a week is enough. Large orders are quoted individually, so start on the events page.
