Before you order.
Ordering, delivery, and what's in them. Still stuck? Email ering8r@gmail.com.
How do I order?
Build a box on the order page, or email ering8r@gmail.com or send a DM on Instagram. Include your flavors, the date you need them, your area of Tallahassee, a delivery time that works for you, and any allergies. I'll write back to confirm.
How much do macarons cost?
$30 a dozen, which is $2.50 each. The price is the same for every dozen, with no discount for bigger orders. Events are quoted individually.
What’s the minimum order?
One dozen per order, and a half-dozen of any one flavor. So a dozen can be one flavor, or two flavors with six of each.
How far ahead should I order?
A week is the minimum, because everything is baked to order. Ordering earlier helps keep your box locked in, especially around holidays. For a wedding, a shower, or any large order, ask at least two weeks ahead.
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in Tallahassee, and delivery is free. Tell me the day and a time that works, and we'll confirm the delivery details when you order. Outside the city limits there may be a delivery fee.
What if I’m outside Tallahassee?
Tell me where you are. Outside the city limits there may be a delivery fee, and we can work out a convenient place in between.
How do I pay?
Venmo is preferred. Cash is fine too. For events, I take 50% up front and the balance on delivery.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If your order is already in production, I can’t change it. If you ask for a change more than a week before your due date, there is a good chance I can make it work. Once the macarons are baked, the order can’t be canceled.
Are your macarons gluten-free?
I make every flavor with gluten-free ingredients except Biscoff cookie butter, which is made with Biscoff cookies and contains wheat. I bake in a home kitchen, and my macaron equipment is only used for macarons, but I can't promise a gluten-free kitchen. If you need to avoid gluten for medical reasons, please talk to me before you order.
What allergens are in your macarons?
Every shell contains almond and egg whites. Many fillings contain dairy. Pistachio, pecan, and hazelnut flavors add more tree nuts. Chocolate peanut butter has peanut. Beach Bonfire, Coconut cheesecake, and Samoa have coconut. The Crème brûlée filling contains egg, and Eggnog is made from a mix that may contain egg. Tell me about any allergy when you order, and I'll tell you what I can and can't do.
Do any flavors have alcohol in them?
Yes. Champagne, Bourbon pecan, Irish cream, and Eggnog (made with bourbon) are made with real alcohol. It's added raw, in small amounts for flavor. Ask me if you need to know about a particular flavor.
Can I mix flavors?
Yes. Order a half-dozen of each flavor you want, starting at one dozen in all.
Can you make a flavor that isn’t on the list?
Email me or send a DM and we'll talk it over. I love trying new flavors.
Can you match my event colors?
Yes. Tell me your colors, and if I'm not sure of the exact shade, I'll ask questions or send you color choices to pick from. For a graduation I can look up the school colors. Standard holiday boxes come in set colors.
Do you set up at my event?
I deliver, but I don't set up. Many customers build their own towers or display trays. I can package the macarons differently for your display, which may cost extra.
How should I store my macarons?
Keep them in the refrigerator for up to a week, and take them out 15 to 20 minutes before you eat them. They can also be frozen. Read the full storage guide for how to thaw them without spoiling the shells.
How many macarons do I need for a party?
Plan on two per person. That's a good average for dessert, a party, or a wedding favor.
